Participants gather for three pre-trip preparation sessions before they leave for peoples and places completely new to them. Your gift equips students to go into the world with spiritual readiness and cross-cultural awareness.

WMI encourages participants to "pack light" by leaving behind both items and attitudes that might hinder their witness. Your gift resources participants with what they really need both in their suitcases and in their hearts - humility, faith, and love - as they participate in God's mission.

Participants are mobilized into God's mission in a lasting way when they form relationships, as happens through Christian partners around the globe who welcome WMI trip participants to join them in ministry.
