Called is Pittsburgh Theological Seminary's dedicated crowdfunding site to help raise money for specific projects and initiatives. It's a unique way for PTS to share projects and initiatives with donors across the globe. Crowdfunding allows supporters to share their favorite projects through social media and email, encouraging others to support worthwhile projects.
One of the ways Called is different from other crowdfunding sites is the ability for project teams to keep all of the money raised, even if they don't meet their project goal. Since the gifts are processed by Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, you can be assured that your gift will go directly to the fund benefitting the project of your choice. Also, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary is a registered non-profit, unlike some other crowdfunding sites. This means your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law.
All gifts to Called projects are considered gifts to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. If you itemize, your gift may be tax-deductible.
Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift on the site.
